Does
the bad breath form in the mouth or is it because of a general health problem?
To
diagnose bad breath, close your lips tightly and strongly breathe out of your
nose. If a person 10 cm away can smell it you may have a systemic disease like
tonsillitis, sinusitis, liver, stomach, diabetes etc. If the person cannot
smell any bad odor it must be forming in the mouth. How can I prevent bad breath?
*Use
antibiotic toothpaste.
*Brush
your teeth and where it meets gum with a 45-degree inclination 7-8 times with
circular motion.
*Try to reach the interface of the teeth with the toothbrush
and don’t forget chewing surfaces. *You need to brush inner surfaces of the lower front teeth
vertically. If effective brushing is inadequate, you may also use an electrical
brush with a rotating head once a day.
*Brushing the tongue has a significant effect on the
elimination of bad breath.
*Use suitable interface brush to clean between teeth and
under bridges.
*Flossing and using mouthwash daily can also be effective in
eliminating bad breath.
*In
the prevention of bad breath, it is recommended to regularly drink water,
increase saliva by sugarless mint gum, use antacid in the case of stomach acid,
and use special brushes and tablets for prostheses.
