Born in
1981 in Ankara, Dr. Dt. Duygu Yazıcıoğlu completed her primary, secondary and
high school education at TED Ankara College. After then she graduated from
Hacettepe University Faculty of Dentistry in 2003. And in 2009, she completed
her PhD thesis titled "The assessment of the influence of diode laser on
wound healing and hemostasis in anticoagulated and diabetic experimental
animals" at the Department of Oral, Dental and Maxillofacial Surgery,
Faculty of Dentistry, Ankara University.
She
continued her academic studies as a lecturer at Eskişehir Osmangazi University,
Department of Oral, Dental and Maxillofacial Surgery. She furthered her
clinical experience in the oral, dental and maxillofacial surgery and dental
implantology field at Koru Health Group's Ankara Hospital.
She regularly
attends and gives speeches at national and international congresses and
symposiums. Her studies have been published in internationally acclaimed journals.
Her fields of interest include computer-aided modeling in implantology, finite
element analysis in implantology, and dental laser applications. In 2015, she
completed the 'Mastership' program on laser treatment methods in dentistry at
RWTH Aachen University. She is a member of the European Society of Oral and
Maxillofacial Surgery, Turkish Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and
Dentistry and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery associations. Gingival aesthetics,
soft tissue management, bone augmentation, orthognathic surgery, oral
pathology, and three-dimensional implantology applications are among her
clinical fields of interest.
